2025 BETA RACE MODELS RELEASED | Latest | News

Details about the 2025 Beta Race models have been released taking over from the previous model run called Racing.

The 2025 Beta Race bikes represent the race-ready versions of Beta’s newly-introduced X-Pro models, featuring a series of modifications to the engine, suspension, and frame, making them ideal for top performance on the track. Designed for both low- and high-speed courses, these Race models offer riders the confidence and rideability that only Beta can deliver.

Take a look at the new features and characteristics that set these models apart.

New Features

For Model Year 2025, there is a range of new features for the entire two- and four-stroke range, while some are specific to individual models:

New Features for All Models:
– New CNC Alloy Footpegs: Redesigned to ensure maximum control at all times, the RR Race 25 models are fitted with new machined alloy racing footpegs with steel pins. These pins are interchangeable, and the footpegs are narrower to facilitate foot movement, offering better grip.

– Front Brake Caliper: A lighter, higher-performance Nissin caliper replaces the previous component on the new Race models. This improves handling while maintaining braking power, progressiveness, and modulation.

– Larger Rear Wheel Axle:The rear wheel axle has been increased by 2mm in diameter (now ø 22mm), providing greater stiffness and torsional resistance. The updated rear swingarm accommodates this new axle, improving precision and stability during violent accelerations.

– Mapping Switch on Handlebars: The mapping switch button has been relocated to the handlebars, inside the bar pad, consistent with the X-PRO models. For four-stroke models, both the mapping switch and the Traction Control button are in this new, more accessible location.

– Bodywork: The new superstructures introduced on the X-PRO models are now featured on the 2025 RR Race, giving the bikes an aggressive, flashy look. The headlight mask, tank panels, sides, and rear guard have all been redesigned. The rear guard and tank panels provide easy, tool-free access to the air filter, and the seat can still be removed with a push-button.

Two-Stroke Models:
For all two-stroke models, the oil injection system is not included on the Race models to reduce weight. However, it can be added as an option (available in the Factory Parts catalog).

Engine-Specific Features:

– Engine – RR Race 250 Two-Stroke:
The 250 model now features the dual spark plug cylinder head that debuted on the 2024 300 Race model, improving linear power delivery and tractability. The dual spark plug setup provides numerous benefits, including improved fuel consumption, carburetion stability, and a broader power range. Additionally, the separate electrical systems for each spark plug allow the engine to run even if one fails, ensuring the ride can continue with reduced efficiency.

– Engine – RR Race 125 Two-Stroke:
Beta has made a series of updates to the 125cc engine for 2025, including a new piston and cylinder head. These updates increase power throughout the delivery curve, particularly enhancing peak horsepower. The engine is now more reactive, powerful, and explosive, providing an even greater range of use compared to past models.

– Engine – RR Race Four-Stroke:
All four-stroke Race models now feature new crankcases derived from the RX 450 engine. These are smaller and lighter, providing more space for the exhaust passage and simplifying installation, removal, and replacement operations.

Racing Components – Entire Range

The following suspension package and special components remain unchanged from previous models, maintaining Beta’s race-ready performance:

– 48mm Kayaba AOS Closed Cartridge Fork: The anodized internal parts and treated materials minimize sliding friction. Adjustable compression and rebound damping allow for custom settings.

– Kayaba C46 RCU Shock: This KYB shock is considered a gold standard for absorbing terrain roughness, transferring traction to the rear wheel, and maintaining performance under heavy use. It’s adjustable for preload, compression (high and low speed), and rebound.

– Quick Release Front Axle: This feature, highlighted by its red anodized release lever, allows for quick tire changes, saving precious seconds during a race.

– Reinforced Handguards: These two-component handguards not only give the bike a racing look but also ensure durability in harsh off-road conditions.

– Rear Sprocket with Anodized Aluminum Core and Steel Toothing by ZF Sprockets: This component combines lightness with strength, ensuring top-class performance and longevity.

– Race Seat: The non-slip cover and document holder pocket provide superior grip, comfort, and practicality.

– Other Notable Features:
– Anodized black gear lever and rear brake pedal.
– Red anodized gearbox oil filler cap, engine oil filler cap, and oil filter cap.
– Red machined alloy chain tensioner blocks.
