CFMOTO Australia has announced the official arrival of the MY25 700MT, a next-generation model aimed at riders looking for a mid-capacity adventure touring motorcycle with a broad set of features and updated styling. This second-generation version of the 700MT receives a number of design, ergonomic, and technology changes, bringing it more in line with CFMOTO’s larger-capacity offerings such as the 800MT.
At the heart of the MY25 700MT is CFMOTO’s long-serving 693cc parallel-twin engine. The engine is equipped with Bosch electronic fuel injection, a slipper clutch, and revised intake and exhaust systems. While no performance figures have been released beyond what’s already available on previous 700MT variants, the engine package is expected to deliver consistent power and broad torque across a variety of riding conditions.
The MY25 700MT sits on spoked aluminium wheels — 19 inches at the front and 17 at the rear — and is fitted with long-travel, fully adjustable suspension both front and rear. Ground clearance is rated at 190mm, and the seat height remains a relatively accessible 800mm. These dimensions suggest the bike has been built to tackle a mix of sealed and unsealed roads, in line with the expectations of adventure touring riders in Australia.
Ergonomically, the bike features a relaxed, upright riding position with wide handlebars, an adjustable windscreen, and a narrow seat design intended to accommodate a wide range of rider heights and experience levels.
In terms of electronics and rider aids, the MY25 700MT includes dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control as standard. CFMOTO has also included a suite of comfort-focused accessories such as heated grips and a heated seat, handguards, adjustable levers, and tyre pressure monitoring. A USB Type-A and Type-C charging port combination is included as standard.
The new five-inch TFT display features smartphone connectivity and is compatible with CFMOTO’s T-Box system and Ride App. Riders can access Google Maps navigation, view real-time vehicle location, enable geofencing features, and receive security alerts. The bike also supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
Fuel capacity is 20 litres, with CFMOTO suggesting this will offer a range of over 400km between fills. For riders planning longer trips, an optional quick-release aluminium luggage system is available to further expand the bike’s touring capability.
Matthew Reilly, General Manager – Sales & Marketing for CFMOTO Australia, said: “The MY25 700MT is not just a facelift – it’s a strategic rethink of what the mid-capacity adventure touring segment demands. It delivers the comfort, technology and premium features Australian riders want, while retaining a practical and approachable design that makes it suitable for both everyday use and weekend escapes.”
The MY25 700MT is available now through CFMOTO dealers across Australia in two colour schemes: Nebula Black and Nebula White. It comes with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $10,490 Ride Away and is backed by CFMOTO Australia’s three-year warranty program.
We look forward to testing the MY25 700MT in real-world conditions soon.
