PRODUCT TEST | FOX COMP K BOOT | Product Evaluations

ADB's smallest tester, Jaxon Lees, tells us in four-year-old broken sentences what the Fox Comp K Boot is like.

The Fox Comp K Boot is the smallest boot Fox makes and probably the smallest boot on the market. We also have the O’Neal boot which is a little more bulky but it still carries the surname of the daddy boot, the Comp, and that means it still has some pretty good features.

The DNA of the Fox Comp K boot actually draws from the Instinct and Comp ranges. It runs the ActiveLock buckle system, a TPU shin plate, toe cap, and calf guard and a soft exterior. My son Jaxon hopped in these boots after running the O’Neal boots and was instantly impressed with how much flexibility the softer Fox boot has. Because the boot is a little softer it is also more malleable and we could get the boot to do up tighter around his foot and calf.

It is a snug fit that’s also really comfortable. Because the boot has more flex, Jax can easily walk around in the boots when not riding which, as most parents will know, seems to happen more often than actually riding sometimes.

Nothing has broken on the boots yet and they seem to be providing excellent protection too because all Jax’s toes are still pointing in the right direction!
