THUMB BLISTERS
TROUBLE
Do you always end up getting blisters on the side of your thumb after a long day’s riding? This will likely be because your thumb is rubbing up against the side of a kill switch or a switchblock.
TRICK
Slide the switch block or kill switch in so your thumb does not touch it. This will prevent rubbing and stop the blisters.

GRAB HANDLES
TROUBLE
The 2024 and 2025 KTM 65 SX both have handles in each side of the airbox that are enclosed, restricting air flow into the airbox.
TRICK
There are aftermarket panels that you can buy to open up these sections of the airbox but if you are careful enough you can cut them out neatly with a sharp blade yourself, which will give you an easy grab handle to move the bike around with while also allowing more air into the airbox.

BROKEN HANDGUARDS
TROUBLE
Handguards take a solid beating on a trailbike and are usually the first thing to snap off when bashed into a tree or shoved into the ground.
TRICK
Loosen the brackets of your handguards so they are tight enough to remain in place during normal riding but will move if they get banged into a tree or hit the ground in a crash. This will prevent the brackets from breaking.
