CFMOTO Australia has unveiled the MY26 800MT-ES, introducing a new middleweight adventure touring platform equipped with an Intelligent Suspension System and a full suite of electronic rider aids, with bikes due in dealerships from late May priced at $18,490 ride away.
The 800MT-ES is powered by a liquid-cooled 799cc parallel twin engine with DOHC and eight valves, producing 70kW at 9,250rpm and 77Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed transmission and slipper clutch, with fuel delivery handled via EFI.
At the centre of the MY26 update is the Intelligent Suspension System, which automatically adjusts front and rear suspension in real time based on terrain, rider input and load. The system works through fully adjustable 41mm USD forks with 160mm of travel and a rear monoshock with 150mm of travel, aiming to maintain balance and control across varying riding conditions without manual adjustment.

The chassis is built around a chrome-molybdenum steel trellis frame using the engine as a stressed member, combined with an aluminium double-sided swingarm to improve rigidity and stability. A steering stabiliser is also fitted to enhance front-end control, particularly at speed or over uneven terrain.
Braking is handled by a J.Juan system, with dual 320mm front discs and radial calipers, paired with a 260mm rear disc. Bosch ABS with cornering functionality and traction control are standard, supported by a Bosch 6-axis IMU that continuously monitors the bike’s movement. The electronics package also includes four riding modes — Sport, Rain, Off-road and All-terrain — along with wheelie control, drag torque control and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The 800MT-ES features an 8-inch TFT display, heated grips and seat, tyre pressure monitoring system and connectivity via the CFMOTO RIDE app, allowing riders to access additional data and functionality through a compatible smartphone.

Ergonomics are designed around an upright riding position, with a shaped fuel tank, wide handlebars and balanced chassis aimed at stability across a range of conditions. The bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels fitted with Michelin Anakee tyres, supporting both road and light off-road use.
Dimensions include a wheelbase of 1531mm, seat height of 825mm and fuel capacity of 19 litres, with a listed curb weight of 231kg.
Factory-fitted alloy luggage is standard, positioning the 800MT-ES as a long-distance touring option straight from the showroom.
The MY26 800MT-ES will be available in Glacier White and Neptune Blue, backed by a three-year factory warranty program, with arrivals scheduled in Australian dealerships from late May.
