Leatt has completely reworked its flagship 5.5 Racewear for 2027, with the new Moto 5.5 UltraWeld Jersey and 5.5 I.K.S Pants focusing on less bulk, more ventilation and unrestricted movement on the bike. Both use streamlined multi-panel construction, strategically positioned stretch materials and laser-cut ventilation, while the lightweight jersey is designed to almost disappear once you’re riding.

The big news is in the I.K.S Pants, where Leatt has ditched traditional leather inner-knee panels for its new HeatGrip technology. It combines abrasion-resistant Deflextion fabric, 100% aramid reinforcement and a heatproof coating, with Leatt claiming it’s grippier than leather in both wet and dry conditions while resisting the cracking and deterioration that can come with leather. It’s also fully machine washable, which anyone who’s peeled a muddy set of pants out of the gearbag will appreciate.

Moto 5.5 UltraWeld Jersey: $84.99 USD
