PRODUCT TEST | LEATT 6.5 VELOCITY GOGGLE | Product Evaluations

ADB Ed Mitch Lees spends a few months with the Leatt 6.5 Velocity goggle and let's us know how they're going.

Goggles are almost as important as a helmet. Not from a safety perspective, although that is important, but because they allow you to see and the better you can see the better chance you have of not crashing and needing that helmet. The Leatt 6.5 Velocity goggle is their top of the range eyewear and I’m happy to say, could be the best goggle I’ve ever worn mainly because it refuses to fog.

I know all goggle manufacturers claim their goggles have anti-fogging agents but no matter how much I cry while riding hard enduro, they refuse to fog. It’s incredible. But I don’t love them just because they let me see clearly now the tears gave gone, they’re loaded with other features like a tough, 170-degree WideVision Mirror (Iriz) lens, an easy clip-in/out lens change, triple-layer, dual-density comfort face foam that’s removable and a frame that’s designed to drain all the dirt that might fall into the lens. It’s got out-riggers with a 50mm anti-slip coated strap for a better fit to the goggle port of my helmet and it’s tear-off ready with posts and a tear-off pack included. Oh and they’re designed to fit over your goggles too.

They look good, they feel good and most importantly they provide excellent vision without fogging up. I’ll keep testing Leatt 6.5 Velocity goggle for a few more months to see how the foam and anti-fog treatment holds up.
