The ErzbergRodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble in Austria is one of the most extreme and iconic enduro races on the planet. It’s a journey through some of the most difficult of terrain, with the likes of the ‘Three Kings’ climb, the rocks of ‘Carl’s Dinner’ and the shale of ‘Dynamite’ to conquer in a battle to the finish.

This, comprised with the unpredictable weather, makes the event ultra-special, and incredibly tough. Of the 1,500 competitors that line up for the Iron Road Prologue, 500 go through to the Red Bull Hare Scramble, but very few finish. The race was won by Alfie Cox aboard a KTM in 1995, and the Iron Giant has been conquered by KTM racers on many occasions since.
