A championship-winning performance from Seth Thomas headlined the GASGAS Junior Racing Team’s campaign at the 2025 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX), as he stormed to the 125cc 13-U15 Years title in Gillman, South Australia, following a week of non-stop action.
Thomas was a standout across the week, piloting his GASGAS MC 125 to the top step of the podium in the competitive 125cc category. He opened the finals with a commanding race win and maintained his form across the remaining motos, sealing the championship with 1-1-2 scores in three races.

Adding to his success, Thomas also contested the 250cc 13-U15 Years division on board a GASGAS MC 150 and finished fourth overall, displaying both speed and consistency in another stacked field for the 2025 edition.

Seth Thomas: “The week in Gillman is all wrapped up, and I’m really stoked with how it went. To win the 125cc title with 1-1-2 scores was awesome, and in the 250cc class on my MC 150, I went 5-3-5-1-2 to finish fourth overall. A huge thanks to the entire GASGAS Junior Racing Team for all their support throughout the week!”

Teammate Sidney Stephenson delivered a determined effort of his own in Gillman, competing in both the 85cc 12-U14 Years and 125cc 13-U15 Years classes. Despite facing adversity throughout the week, he showed resilience and speed, finishing inside the top 10 overall in the 85cc category.

The GASGAS Junior Racing Team was unfortunately without rider Bodie Court in Gillman, after he suffered a serious injury in the lead-up that required surgery.

GASGAS’s success extended to the 85cc 14-U16 Years division, however, where Dylan Gromball raced his GASGAS MC 85 to the championship victory in convincing style!

Kyle Blunden, KTM Group Australia Motorsport Manager: “What can I say, it was a very impressive week for Seth Thomas – he was incredible and certainly has a bright future ahead of him in this sport. Unfortunately, after starting the week strong, Sidney Stephenson had a pretty big crash that knocked him around, but he showed massive heart to push through and finish out the event. We’re really excited about what the future holds for him as well. It was also disappointing to be without Bodie Court this week after he suffered a serious accident in the lead-up, which needed surgery, meaning he wasn’t able to return to full health in time for AJMX.”
