There was no shortage of speed from Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki’s Dean Ferris (111) at round three of the 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship in Gillman, with the four-time MX1 champion leading a large portion of the opening moto aboard his KX450 before an unfortunate DNF ended his chances of a strong result. Ferris was again in the fight at the front in race two, however, an early error saw him charge back through the field to finish P6.

Teammate Brad West (100) also showed promising speed throughout the South Australian round, running competitively inside the MX1 field at various stages of the day. Unfortunately, a DNF in moto one proved costly for the Queenslander, ultimately restricting him to P17 overall despite showing encouraging signs of progression aboard the KX450.

In MX2, Kawasaki Team Green NZ’s Madoc Dixon (318) once again led the KX250 charge at Gillman, continuing to establish himself as a consistent front-runner in the category. The New Zealander secured P7 overall for the round, highlighted by a strong P6 finish in moto two as he continued building momentum in the championship.

The JPM 360 Kawasaki team continued its steady progression in South Australia, with Ryan Alexanderson (532) featuring inside the top-10 across the day to finish P8 overall in MX2. Teammate Jayce Cosford (754) also continued gaining valuable race mileage, claiming P14 overall as he continues working his way back to full strength.

Also in the MX2 category, Japanese fan favourite Haruki Yokoyama (386) put together a solid 7-13 scorecard to secure P11 overall aboard his KX250. The result marked another consistent outing, with early lap speed in race one being a huge positive moving forward for Yokoyama.

Next stop, Toowoomba, Queensland, for round four of Penrite ProMX on May 24 where the entire Kawasaki Motors Australia-supported Team Green contingent will continue to put on a charge in the 2026 season.
