The Italian manufacturer has unveiled a heavily updated 2027 Beta RR X-PRO range, with the Italian manufacturer refining almost every area of its versatile enduro lineup through major engine, electronics, suspension and chassis upgrades.

Following the strong reception of the X-PRO platform since its MY25 introduction, Beta has doubled down on the concept for MY27, continuing to position the RR X-PRO squarely between the softer Xtrainer and the more aggressive RR Race range.

The MY27 lineup again consists of eight models:

  • RR X-PRO 125 2T
  • RR X-PRO 200 2T
  • RR X-PRO 250 2T
  • RR X-PRO 300 2T
  • RR X-PRO 350 4T
  • RR X-PRO 390 4T
  • RR X-PRO 430 4T
  • RR X-PRO 480 4T

But underneath the familiar bodywork, Beta has made significant changes aimed at improving rideability, comfort, durability and outright performance.

The biggest talking point for MY27 is the introduction of brand-new electronics across the four-stroke models.

For the first time ever on a Beta production four-stroke enduro, Launch Control and Quick Shift technology now come standard.

Launch Control features five levels of adjustment and is designed to maximise traction off the start line by managing torque delivery and reducing wheelspin or unwanted wheelies.

Quick Shift allows clutchless upshifts under throttle, bringing the X-PRO range closer to full factory-level race bike technology.

The new systems are integrated into a redesigned control panel mounted inside an updated handlebar protector, alongside Beta’s existing traction control and dual-map systems.

Beta hasn’t stopped there.

The MY27 four-strokes also receive:

  • A new higher-output voltage regulator for improved charging and more stable power delivery
  • Updated titanium valves with revised surface finishes for improved durability
  • A completely redesigned mechanical cam chain tensioner system replacing the previous hybrid setup for smoother operation and improved starting performance

On the two-stroke side, Beta has focused heavily on refining feel, reducing friction and improving reliability.

The RR X-PRO 250 and 300 receive new main bearings designed to reduce internal drag and smooth engine rotation, while the 125 gets an all-new piston aimed at improving durability and overall running quality.

The RR X-PRO 200 also inherits a major update directly from the Race model, receiving revised longer primary gears to improve load distribution and overall gearbox strength.

Suspension has also undergone a serious rethink for MY27.

Beta’s unique SHC (Separate Hydraulic Chamber) fork layout remains, with the spring housed in the right fork leg and damping in the left. The setup continues to save roughly 250 grams over conventional fork designs, but the MY27 tuning has shifted focus dramatically toward improving initial stroke comfort and front wheel feel.

Beta says the revised fork setup now delivers:

  • Better small bump absorption
  • Improved ground contact
  • Increased comfort
  • More precise steering feel across a wider range of terrain

The rear shock has also been redeveloped to better balance the revised fork settings.

A new tool-free external adjuster now allows greater separation between high- and low-speed damping adjustments, while Beta claims improved sensitivity and a broader usable setup range overall.

Importantly, Beta has retained one of the X-PRO’s biggest strengths — accessibility.

Seat height remains at 930mm, keeping the X-PRO range 20mm lower than the RR Race lineup and maintaining its reputation as one of the easiest full-size enduro bikes to ride in technical terrain.

The MY27 range also receives a stack of smaller but important upgrades across all models:

  • Softer new grips designed to reduce vibration and rider fatigue
  • A completely redesigned Trailtech speedometer with improved readability and durability
  • A new wheel speed sensor
  • An updated LED headlight with redesigned shroud and lower power draw
  • Revised aluminium suspension components to reduce weight

Key X-PRO features also carry over, including:

  • Enlarged main frame beam for improved chassis stability
  • Handlebar silent blocks to reduce vibration
  • Front lift strap
  • Nissin braking package
  • Coolant expansion tank integrated into the frame on the 200cc model
  • Externally adjustable two-stroke power valve
  • Beta’s diaphragm spring clutch with three selectable engagement settings

Beta says the MY27 RR X-PRO range continues to focus heavily on versatility, with the bikes designed to handle everything from weekend trail riding through to extreme enduro terrain and competition riding.

Australian availability is expected from September 2026, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
