KTM has unveiled its 2027 SX motocross range, confirming a nine-model line-up spanning junior and full-size categories, with updated styling, refined engine packages and continued use of race-derived chassis and componentry. The range is scheduled to arrive in Australia from June 2026 for minicycles, followed by full-size SX and SX-F models from July.

The 2027 lineup includes three junior models — 50 SX, 65 SX and 85 SX — alongside six full-size machines covering both two-stroke and four-stroke platforms. The two-stroke range consists of the 125 SX, 250 SX and 300 SX, while the four-stroke SX-F models include the 250 SX-F, 350 SX-F and 450 SX-F.

For 2027, KTM has introduced a revised colour scheme and graphics package, featuring a stronger emphasis on KTM’s traditional orange with added red detailing on the tank spoilers. The graphics are in-moulded for increased durability and resistance to wear.

Across the range, KTM continues to use its hydro-formed, laser-cut and robot-welded steel frame, developed through ongoing input from its factory racing program. The chassis platform is designed to balance rigidity, flex and weight, with consistent architecture applied across different engine capacities.

Engine packages remain a key focus, with both two-stroke and four-stroke models utilising advanced fuel injection systems. KTM states the engines are designed to optimise power delivery, torque and overall performance while complying with current FIM noise regulations.

All models benefit from premium componentry, including WP XACT suspension systems, Pankl gearboxes, Dunlop Geomax MX34 tyres, Excel rims with CNC-machined hubs, Brembo braking systems and clutches, NEKEN handlebars, ODI lock-on grips and Keihin throttle bodies.

The 2027 SX range continues to cater for a wide spectrum of riders, from entry-level juniors through to elite competition, with models such as the 300 SX maintaining KTM’s two-stroke offering alongside its four-stroke SX-F platforms.

KTM has confirmed that the 2027 minicycle range will begin arriving in Australian dealerships from June 2026, with full-size SX and SX-F models following in July. All models are covered under KTM’s Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty for off-road motorcycles, which includes 12 months of coverage for parts and manufacturing defects, with extended value dependent on servicing through authorised KTM dealers.
