Luke Clout has signed a two-year deal with MAD Racing Dirt Candy Suzuki powered by Yoshimura to race in the 250 AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series and 250 Outdoor Nationals. The Australian rider made a strong impression on the Suzuki team at his debut ride at Anaheim 2, where he was filling in for injured rider, Daniel Baker, and only days later signed the two-year contract.

In their official annoucement the team said – MAD Racing Dirt Candy Suzuki powered by Yoshimura is proud to announce the official signing of Luke Clout. After his breakthrough debut ride at Anaheim 2, Clout has earned himself a full-time spot on the team to compete for two years in the 250 AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series and 250 Outdoor Nationals aboard the #492 Suzuki RM-Z250.

Luke Clout, former Australian MX2 champion, was originally slated to be a fill in for the injured Daniel Baker. However following his fourteenth place finish during his first appearance on the 250SX scene in the United States, it was clear right away that Clout had something unique to add to the MAD Racing stables. Joining teammates Daniel Baker and Matt Bisceglia, Luke has signed a two year contract extending through the length of two full supercross and outdoor seasons. “We are excited about having Luke [Clout] join the team. With his first week results we look forward to the rest of the West coast 250SX and are working to get him completely comfortable on the RM-Z250.”
