After a solid stint running the Interphone Smart Air Pump in the kit, it’s gone from a “handy to have” gadget to something that pretty much lives in the hydration pack. It’s been used trackside, on the farm and mid-ride when pressures need tweaking, and it’s proven itself as a genuinely useful bit of gear rather than a novelty. It’s not trying to do everything, but for what we actually use it for on dirtbikes, it’s bang on.
We Liked
• Perfect for Dirtbike Pressures – This is where it shines. Going from 6–8psi up to 18–20psi is quick, easy and consistent. Exactly what you want for trail or adventure riding between dirt and bitumen.
• Compact Size – Small enough to chuck in a hydration pack and forget about it. The hose tucks away neatly so there’s nothing flapping around or getting lost.
• Screen & Usability – The display is super clear and easy to read, even in bright conditions. Set your pressure, hit go and let it do its thing.
• Battery Life – Impressive. It’ll sit in your bag for months and still fire up when you need it. We barely charged it across regular use.
• Build & Practicality – Feels durable enough for real-world use, not just sitting in a glovebox.
We Didn’t Like
• Not for Big Jobs – If you’re trying to inflate a completely flat tyre to high pressure or pop a bead, you’ll be waiting a while. It’s not built for that.
• No Good for Cars – Don’t expect it to inflate a car tyre. That’s not its game.
Verdict
The Interphone Smart Air Pump does exactly what most dirtbike riders actually need. It’s compact, reliable and makes quick pressure adjustments stupidly easy wherever you are. As long as you understand its limits, this thing earns its spot in the pack every ride.
