Joey Savatgy has been docked five positions as a result of this on-track incident in East Rutherford. It was determined by the AMA that Savatgy did not re-enter the racetrack at the closest safe point
Following Savatgy’s penalty, Jordon Smith now holds the championship lead as the series heads to Vegas. Savatgy is third in the standings behind Zach Osborne.
