The team at Penrite Honda Racing are eager to hit the track but before they do, they need some new bike designs and they need your help.
The team has provided two different templates for you to download and they want to see some cool designs. There are no age restrictions and Penrite Honda Racing will donate $2 for each of the first 500 drawings to the Good Friday Appeal.
Teams director, Yarrive Konsky wants to see people have fun with this. “I know this is a difficult time for everyone, but I ask you all to share a thought for the kids stuck in Hospital. We want to let them know that we are thinking of them. We also really want to see what you would like our graphics to look like and want you to fun indoors.”
The Penrite Honda Team riders will also get to pick a design each to run on their race bikes this year at one of the rounds of the MX Nationals.
Team rider Brett Metcalfe can’t wait to see what people design, his kids also can’t wait to start colouring in.
“Let’s do something positive and get creative and do some cool stuff with your kids. I am even going to come up with some designs with my boys, they can’t wait to start drawing. I look forward to picking someone’s design to run this year. I also want to add, the design I pick will get a personalised set of my riding gear signed by me and I know my teammate Kyle Webster will do the same.”
Honda Australia General Manager of Motorcycles, Mr Tony Hinton is very pleased to see the race team’s efforts of positivity during this time.
“We love this initiative from our race team. It’s a great opportunity for kids to get creative with Honda motorcycles and we look forward to seeing all of the entries as they come in. What a dream for any young MX fan too, to have your design picked and used on one of the teams race CRFs for a race, good luck to all of those who take part.” said Mr Hinton.
The team hope to get designs from all over the world. There are 100 prizes to be won. Hats, T-shirts, shirts, signed riding gear.
Get creative, colour in and design as many bikes as you want, do some home videos of you drawing, talk us through your designs and tell us your story.
