We took a chance and fitted an RS-4 stainless steel full system to our 2018 RM-Z 450 long-term test bike.
If you followed our progress with this pipe then you’ll know we thought it was quite easy to fit up and added a whole bunch of much-needed horsepower to the bike.
It lifted the overall performance in all parts of the rev range and made the bike much more rideable and manageable. We have already run a ‘Used and abused’ product evaluation on this pipe but decided to give you one last update on the pipe before signing off.
The pipe is still in great condition. I’ve kept it looking sharp by cleaning it with a scouring pad and soap every time I wash the bike as well as giving it a good soaking in silicone spray so it doesn’t lose its shine. The pipe has been durable and even after all this time hasn’t lost its packing or become any louder as it aged.
The stickers are still stuck in place and looking schmick. If you are looking for a pipe that is durable, easy to fit and lifts the performance of your bike then you should definitely take a look at the Yoshi RS-4 exhaust system. It gets our tick of approval. Technical Editor Mat Boyd
