Whether I’m stopping for lunch or working on my bike, having a table at the track is essential. I can rest tools on it, eat my lunch, or jot down notes. I need something that’s easy to travel with as well so it needed to be compact. That’s where the Oztent Bi-fold Table came in.
WE LIKED
Compact and Portable The bi-folding mechanism allows the table to pack down to the size of a ‘90s briefcase, making it incredibly easy to carry and store. It’s perfect for situations where space is limited.
Durability Constructed from steel, the table is stronger than its aluminium counterparts. It can support up to 50kg, which, while I can’t sit on it I can rest my Ballards tool bag on it, a notepad, and even my lunch and drinks without any issues.
Versatility The table’s size and sturdiness make it ideal not just for the track but also for camping. Whether you’re setting it up for a quick meal between motos or using it to write notes about bike setups, it is pretty handy.
Easy to Set Up and Pack Away Folding and unfolding the table is a breeze, which adds to its convenience. This is especially useful when you need to quickly set up or pack up at the track or campsite.
WE DIDN’T LIKE
Weight While the steel construction adds to the table’s durability, it also makes it a bit heavier compared to aluminium alternatives. This might be a minor inconvenience for some users who prefer ultra-lightweight gear.
Flat The table isn’t perfectly flat when pulled out, it’s raised ever so slightly in the middle. You’d only notice it if you spilled some water on it.
VERDICT
The Oztent Bifold Table is a practical addition to any track day or camping trip. Its compact size when packed, coupled with its robust steel construction, makes it a reliable and versatile choice. While it is slightly heavier than aluminium tables, its ability to support substantial weight and its easy setup and pack-away features outweigh this minor drawback. The build quality is impressive and all hinges and legs have withstood sliding around in the back of the car and constant opening and closing.
