PRODUCT TEST | GOODRIDGE BRAKE LINES | How To | Tricks of the Trade

We grabbed a set of Goodridge Brake lines and gave them to our Tech Editor Mat Boyd to see how they go.

Goodridge brake lines feature the highest quality hose consisting of a PTFE inner and a stainless steel braided outer coated in a plastic protective coating in a colour of your choice. Braided brake lines eliminate the spongy feel under harsh braking and gives better braking efficiency as well as provides resistance to damage. Not only do these Goodridge Brake Lines enhance the braking performance and durability of your motorcycle but they also add style points and give you the ability to have brake lines made in any colour you want for any make and model of motorcycle. Goodridge brake lines also meet the ADR standards and are DOT and TUV approved meaning they are approved to be used in every state and territory around the world.

When having your brake lines made you have the choice between two different styles of fittings. Zinc fittings which are cheaper or black stainless fittings which are much stronger. We went with the black stainless for extra durability and the price does not increase by too much.

Fitting these brake lines up was easy. Any cheaper manufactured brake lines can be difficult to fit and often have the bends in incorrect places or the fittings are shaped wrong or facing the wrong way and getting the brake lines to sit in a tidy position can be difficult. Goodridge have done an excellent job making sure these brake lines are a simple bolt up job and fit nice and tidy just the same as the stock ones.
