ADB Australian Big-Bore Classic Entries Open! | News

The King of Aussie motocross will be decided at the first ADB Australian Big-Bore Classic at Krusic’s Ride Park in Gippsland, Nanny State, on Sunday, 26 April.

Entries are now open! Click HERE to enter. https://www.cloudentries.com.au/Event/EventForm3/3917

On ANZAC Day we’ll pay our respects to fallen war heroes, but the very next day you can become a hero, when the world’s first ADB Australian Big-Bore Classic champion is crowned on Sunday, 26 April, at Krusic’s Ride Park, Victoria.

This will never happen again [next year you can only become the second champion] so get your entries in now if you don’t want to miss your chance at this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

A natural-terrain motocross track is being prepped and primed at the vast Krusic’s moto complex in sunny (but sometimes smokey) Gippsland for a huge day of racing. There are no crazy jumps where the swingarm might part ways with your big-bore classic machine, just wide-open corners, fast straights and deep loamy soil. It’ll be the perfect opportunity for enduro riders to bang ’bars with motocross die-hards on a track that levels the playing field for all.

For trailriders keen to test their skills on a motocross track this is the perfect event.

Classes for the Big-Bore Classic have been adjusted to accommodate even more riders after we were inundated with requests.

We figured if you want to try racing a 250F against a 480 we ain’t going to stop ya! All the power to you, as long as you stay out of the way.

The 500cc two-stroke class is now open to 300cc-500cc bikes but this class will be the most popular, so get your entry in quick if you want to line up in this one.

We’ve opened up the 500F class to any bike capacity. So if you’re confident enough to go up against big-bores on your 250, go for it! The 300T class is open to any two-stroke up to 300cc and you can now race any capacity bike in the Over-45s class (the rider’s age not the engine capacity).

C-Grade will be broken up into three classes: 500cc two-stroke and 500cc four-stroke are open to any capacity bike up to 500cc and a 300cc class is for bikes up to 300cc capacity.

ULTIMATE BIG BORE
The feature race is open to any rider on any capacity but riders must pre-enter. 250Fs will go up against 500cc two-strokes and the feature race winner will be decided over two, three-lap motos raced minutes apart. There’ll be a five-minute re-set time from when the last rider crosses the line of the first moto until the gatedrop for the second one, so no time for new rings. This race will decide who is the ultimate big-bore king (or queen)!

The ADB Australian Big Bore Classic is proudly sponsored by Alpinestars, O’Neal, Force Accessories, Fly Racing, LS2 Helmets and Local Legends Snacks.

There will be free camping on the Saturday night so you can make a weekend of it!
